Chuck Austin Fellows (formerly Rotary Club of Frederick Fellows)

Since 2006, the Rotary Club of Frederick Fellow has been the highest distinction our club could bestow on one of our members. Similar to a Lifetime Achievement Award, this award has honored deserving members for their outstanding contributions of time, skill and devotion to the club and our community.

In 2025, this program was renamed in honor of our club’s longest-serving member, Secretary Emeritus, and perfect attendance record holder, Charles S. “Chuck” Austin.

During the Call for Nominations, members may nominate a fellow Rotarian whom they believe has:

  • Advanced The Rotary Club of Frederick toward the fulfillment of its goals through their actions and achievements.
  • Had a long term involvement in Rotary and the Frederick community.
  • Performed a distinguished act in the interest of humanity epitomizing excellence and leadership.
  • Served as a club officer and/or board member in The Rotary Club of Frederick
  • Earned a Paul Harris Fellowship from the Rotary Foundation.

Nominations are reviewed by an appointed committee who will make the selection and present the recipient of the award to the club.

Past Presidents

Over the past century, our club has been led by entrepreneurs, bankers, educators, administrators, doctors, dentists, attorneys, judges, non-profit directors, community leaders, and representatives of some of our community’s largest employers.
