When We See Someone in Need, We Help

One Profits Most Who Serves Best and Service Above Self are both Rotary mottos, but the clearest way of describing who we are as a club is the simplest: When we see someone in need, we help.

And that’s exactly what happened on Saturday morning, August 3, when about a dozen club members and a few friends and family members joined a small crew from Lancaster Craftsmen Builders to return a local, elderly man’s home to livability.

Early Saturday morning, the group demolished and removed four condemned structures on this man’s property, and began to frame out and rebuild the garage to house a new electrical panel and provide a reliable source of clean water.

Thank you to Mark Lancaster, Leslie Schultz, Scott Ewine, John Molesworth, Brad Young, Stacey Moler, Tom Clagett, Gordon Cooley, Vaughn Meglan, Rocky Mackintosh, Greg Powell, John Fieseler, Michael Pugh and Brad’s guest, Councilman Mason Carter of District 5. You make us proud!
