The Religious Coalition for Emergency Human Needs’ Executive Director Nick Brown and Development Director Megan Kula recently attended a meeting to thank the club for the grant they received for their Emergency Family Shelter through our Service Partners program. Opened in April of 2022, the Family Shelter provides a place of stability for families experiencing hardships due to homelessness and poverty. Its 8,500 sf of space can house up to 10 families, or 50 people, at a time and is open 24/7. Nick thanked the club, individually and collectively for our support, which— added to other gifts, pledges and government funding— helped its “Beyond Shelter” campaign exceed its fundraising goal of $3.5 million.
