Rebuilding Together helps keep low-income homeowners, particularly the elderly, disabled and families with young children, living in decent, safe and warm homes. One of our club’s longest running service projects, this nationwide home repair and rehabilitation project pairs volunteers with homeowners in need of support repairing and maintaining their homes.
Every year on the last weekend in April, 30-40 RCF members, their families and friends volunteer to work with a local family or organization to increase their safety and independence. Using donated goods and supplies whenever possible, past projects have included installing handrails and grab bars, replacing dangerous steps and stairs, hauling trash and debris, repairing roof leaks and patching walls.
