Work continues on the property of the gentleman whose home we have been restoring to livability on Putman Road. The elderly gentleman on whose behalf we are doing this work remains very ill in a local nursing home, learning to cope with serious ongoing health challenges. Being able to return to a home with electricity and potable water will make his life much more manageable.
Our workgroup for this project has worked around some bad weather and wet ground recently in order to complete all-important slab that will allow us to back the trailer onto a level area and to have a structure to fasten the insulated skirting to. With Mark’s brother leading the way and many willing hands, a 6×6 perimeter of pressure-treated timber was laid out and the pad was completed.
Thanks to everyone who has helped with this worthy project—we truly have a club we can be proud of!
