Recently, Michelle Shearer, 2011 National Teacher of the Year and Frederick County Public Schools’ Project Manager for High School Innovation, talked to our club about LYNX, a groundbreaking approach to the high school experience that takes learning from the classroom into the real world through a partnership with 161 business partners, including EDCO – Equipment Development Company, a manufacturing business in Frederick for which member Jason Stanczyk is Vice President of Operations.
