The Rotary Foundation is the charitable giving arm of our organization. The Rotary Club of Kansas City, Missouri made the first contribution to the Rotary Foundation in 1917 ($26.50). Since then, The Rotary Foundation has raised and spent over $3 billion on programs and projects to support humanitarian efforts and scholarships.

Members are recognized by the Rotary Foundation as Paul Harris Fellows for $1000 in voluntary contributions — one-time or collective. At this week’s meeting, 4 members of our club received Paul Harris recognition.

Our club’s Rotary Foundation chair, Jean Joyce, presented Paul Harris fellowships to Nancy Gillece, Brian Ropp, and William Wallace, pictured left to right. In attendance at the meeting, but not pictured was Paul Harris fellow, Dr. P. Gregory Rausch.
