Russ Hodge

February 21

Speaker: Russ Hodge

ROTARIANS IN ASSISTANCE:

Greeter: Chuck Mann
Invocation: Ron Young
Introducer: Jo Butler
Thanker: Andy Carpel

If you have read the FNP in the last couple of weeks, or the Hagerstown Herald, or The Baltimore Sun, you likely will have seen an article about a Frederick TV production company, 3 Roads Communications, and a documentary they have produced about Hagerstown, called The House on Jonathan Street. It started airing during the first week of February on 300 PBS stations across the country, and they have had screenings of the documentary, at the Martin Luther King, Jr. Library in Washington and one last Sunday in Hagerstown.

But Russ Hodge and Patrick Hodge, the father/son duo who produced The House on Jonathan Street, are not here today to talk about that project. They are here to talk about a new documentary, one much closer to home. It’s called InSpired, and its a one hour documentary about the history of Frederick, with a particular emphasis on Frederick’s economic resurgence in the past fifty years.
