Pictured L-R: Former State Senator, Frederick Mayor, theoretical architect of Carroll Creek, and longtime Rotary Club of Frederick member Ron Young introduced Kara Norman, shown here with President Stacey Moler and club member and Thanker Mike McClane.

Downtown Frederick Partnership Executive Director Kara Norman was in the house on October 18 to talk to us about the fantastic plans afoot to take one of America’s most livable cities (ours!) to the next level! From the Partnership’s collaboration with the AARCH Society to creating a Seventh Street Fountain Park, (complete with commissioned artwork in tribute to the Laboring Sons), to the possibilities for reimagining of the Downtown streetscape, to the razing of the Church Street Garage in Spring 2024, and everything in between, Kara gave members plenty to look forward to and get excited about!
