We are proud to celebrate our very own Rotarian, Karlys Kline, who was honored with the SHERO Heart Award during the final night of the 2026 S.H.E. Week, hosted by the Frederick County Chamber of Commerce.

The SHERO Awards recognize women whose leadership and contributions demonstrate Strength, Heart, and Equality, and Karlys is certainly a wonderful example of HEART through the compassion, generosity, and connection she has demonstrated throughout our community.

Among her many contributions, Karlys founded the Women’s Giving Circle of Frederick County approximately 20 years ago with a vision of bringing women together to help other women and their dependents in need. What began as an idea has grown into an organization of more than 450 members, supporting programs and organizations throughout Frederick County.

Karlys’s recognition is a wonderful reminder of the extraordinary service taking place within our own Rotary family. We are incredibly proud to call her a fellow Rotarian and congratulate her on this well-deserved honor!
