Hello and Welcome to the Rotary Club of Frederick!

Thanks for visiting our website. I’m really glad you stopped by.

When we look back over the past year, we realize immediately that we all have something in common: COVID-19 has upended every person’s life in some way. And while it may have changed the way we function as a club (we’re meeting via Zoom for one thing!), the outbreak has shown us that it will take more than a pandemic to rock the foundations of Rotary.

We are still going strong!

From now through June 30, 2021, the Rotary Club of Frederick is celebrating our 100th anniversary. We may have sacrificed some of the ceremonies, the gatherings, and the great big cake, but we have not allowed the current public health crisis to thwart the most important work of Rotary. In spite of everything, have continued to find the most compelling needs and meet them—here, and around the world.

Because now more than ever, it’s time for Rotary!

Please feel free to reach out to us at info@frederickrotaryclub.org if you have any questions.

Yours in Rotary Service,

Joanne McCoy, President
RY 2020-2021

Food & More Program

The Rotary Club of Frederick’s Food & More Program was designed to bring essential food items and provide support to needy, home-bound seniors in Frederick County during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Rotary Club of Frederick partnered with a local nonprofit, SOAR (Supporting Older Adults through Resources), to adopt some of the seniors they support with their basic needs, including food and emotional support from a distance. Twice a month, Rotarians provide deliveries of fresh, frozen, and canned foods and household items to these seniors, in addition to serving as a resource to connect these seniors with ways to get what they need in safe, secure ways during the pandemic. The Food & More Program is a proud recipient of a $5000 Rotary District 7620 DDF-SHARE Funds grant.
