In honor and memory of our many club members and all soldiers who have served in U.S. armed conflicts, our members care for Downtown Frederick’s Memorial Park. Located at 121 North Bentz Street, Memorial Park honors soldiers from the French and Indian to the Gulf War.
Twice a year, usually coinciding with Memorial and Veterans Days, a large group of our members meets at Memorial Park in Downtown Frederick. The group spends the morning weeding, mulching and planting. Ruppert Landscaping generously donates their labor, goods and other services as needed. Together, we make sure that this local tribute to Frederick’s brave soldiers who gave all in the service of their country remains attractive, clean, well-appointed and in good repair.
