Their duties and responsibilities vary by region\, but a Maryland Master Naturalist is a volunteer who has completed a science-based training program focused on the natural history of our state and then commits to sharing their knowledge and passion for the environment by volunteering their time to conservation and educational projects. They act as citizen scientists\, contributing to the conservation of Maryland’s natural resources.  \nMaster Naturalist Susan Rivers with the Maryland Extension Service is sure to explain it better at this meeting– hope to see you at this meeting. \n
