DESCRIPTION:The Hood-Rotary Tip-Off Tournament is a fundraiser that benefits our local Frederick Community\, the Rotary Club of\nFrederick and Hood College Athletics. One third of every dollar raised will directly benefit Hood’s athletics program; the other two-thirds will support The Rotary Club of Frederick’s many local and international initiatives. These funds will have tangible impacts on the lives of many people within our community and throughout the world.  \nThis year’s tournament will be held Friday\, November 8th and Saturday\, November 9th and will feature teams from Notre Dame of Maryland\, Salisbury University\, Randolph-Macon College\nand Hood College. The games will be played in the state-of-the-art Woodsboro Bank Arena within the Volpe Athletic Center on Hood’s Campus. \nTickets are $10/each. Each Rotarian is asked to purchased at least two tickets and attend if possible\, or give them to friends or family who would enjoy a night or two of great basketball! \nAnother big part of the success of this event is advertiser and sponsor support.
