The Rotary Club of Frederick has been partnering with BIG— an organization that sends donated books to schools and individuals in underserved areas of the US and in developing countries— for more than 20 years. To help pay for shipping, BIG holds several books sales each year that are open to the public. The next book sale is on Friday, April 14 from 3-5 pm and Saturday, April 15, 2023 from 8 am to 2 pm at 451 Defense Highway in Annapolis (1.7 miles west of the Annapolis Mall on the south side of the road).
(Since parking is at a premium, we would ask that anyone who is able to walk further use the overflow parking to the left of the main driveway.)
There will be a tremendous selection of children’s books from board books to teen novels, paperbacks and hardbacks in many categories and an entire room for history lovers and science buffs!
Books are priced at $3 for hardbacks, $2 for trade soft bound, and $1 for pocket paperbacks, or you may fill a provided grocery shopping bag for $35. Cash and checks only.
