The Rotary Club of Frederick Fellows honor was inaugurated by the club in 2006 as a way of honoring club members who have exhibited especially meritorious service to the greater Frederick community or to the club. The Rotary Club of Frederick Fellow designation is the highest honor which the club has to bestow on its members. 

First honored were the following eleven members who had been recognized by 2005-2006 club president M. Richard Adams in his This Is Your Life series which he had created during his term.   These first eleven Fellows were inducted as a group in 2006.

Later during the 2006-2007 club year, the Rotary Club of Frederick Fellows Committee was formed to select several honorees each year for induction as club Fellows. At that time, the Rotary Club of Frederick Fellow honor replaced the This Is Your Life series. The club has since honored and inducted the following Rotary Club of Frederick Fellows.
